A red white and blue protein smoothie can be a delicious and nutritious way to celebrate patriotic occasions or simply enjoy a refreshing and healthy drink.

Here’s a recipe for a red, white, and blue protein smoothie:

Ingredients:

For the red layer:

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (such as strawberries, raspberries, or cherries)
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk (any kind, such as cow’s milk, almond milk, or coconut milk)
  • 1 scoop red fruit-flavored protein powder (optional)

For the white layer:

  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1 scoop unflavored or vanilla protein powder

For the blue layer:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1 scoop blueberry or vanilla protein powder (optional)

Instructions:

  1. For the red layer: In a blender, combine the frozen mixed berries, vanilla Greek yogurt, milk, and red fruit-flavored protein powder (if using). Blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, you can add more milk to achieve the desired consistency. Pour the red layer into the bottom of a glass or a jar.
  2. For the white layer: In the blender, combine the vanilla Greek yogurt, milk, and unflavored or vanilla protein powder. Blend until smooth. Pour the white layer on top of the red layer into the glass or jar.
  3. For the blue layer: In the blender, combine the ripe banana, frozen blueberries, vanilla Greek yogurt, milk, and blueberry or vanilla protein powder (if using). Blend until smooth. Pour the blue layer on top of the white layer into the glass or jar.
  4. Optionally, you can garnish the smoothie with additional fresh berries or a sprinkle of shredded coconut for added texture and flavor.
  5. Insert a straw and enjoy your delicious red, white, and blue protein smoothie, packed with fruity flavors and protein goodness!

Note: You can adjust the sweetness and thickness of the smoothie by adding more or fewer sweeteners (such as honey or maple syrup) and liquid (such as milk) to suit your taste preferences. Also, feel free to customize the recipe by using your favorite types of berries or protein powder flavors.
