Ingredients

For the casserole
  • 2 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 4 can (14.5 oz) cut green beans drained
For the topping
  • 1 package (2.8 oz) French fried onions

Equipment

  • 1 6-quart slow cooker

Method

Make the casserole
  1. Stir the condensed soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper together in a 6-quart slow cooker until smooth.
  2. Fold in the drained green beans until coated, cover, and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours or HIGH for 2 to 3 hours, until hot throughout and bubbling at the edges.
Add the topping
  1. Sprinkle the French fried onions over the casserole just before serving.

Notes

For the crispest topping, add the French fried onions just before serving. Refrigerate leftovers for 3 to 4 days; freezing is not recommended because it can affect the texture.
