Ingredients

Chicken breasts
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts Use similar thickness for even baking.
Caesar mixture
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley Reserve a little for garnish.
Optional topping
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Optional; adds extra melt and stretch.

Equipment

  • 1 sheet pan

Method

Prep and assemble
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and set an oven rack to the middle position, then lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Arrange the boneless skinless chicken breasts in the baking dish in a single layer.
  3. In a bowl, combine the Caesar dressing, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Spread the Caesar mixture evenly over the chicken so each breast is well coated.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top if using for a melty, browned finish.
Bake and broil
  1. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the topping is bubbling.
  2. Broil for 2–3 minutes if desired to develop a golden top with light browning.
Finish and serve
  1. Garnish with chopped parsley right before serving for a fresh green finish.
  2. Serve the chicken with vegetables, pasta, or a fresh salad.

Notes

For the most even, tender results, choose chicken breasts that are similar thickness and avoid packing them tightly in the dish. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container up to 3 days. Freezing is not recommended because the creamy topping can separate after thawing. Dietary swap: use a reduced-fat or light Caesar dressing to lower calories while keeping the flavor profile.
